Four styles to start from

Pick a style. We draw it around your number.

Each design is checked piece by piece, so every shape can be cut from real glass and the panel holds together. Colors can change; the glass comes from American art glass makers.

The number is glass

Made to be read from the sidewalk.

Painted numbers need a kiln and fade; vinyl peels. We cut every digit from glass and set light digits on a dark plate, so the solder lines disappear into the background and the number stays clear.

  • Digits cut from glass, no paint or stickers
  • Light digits on dark glass, readable by day and lit from inside at night
  • Long seams reinforced inside, framed in zinc

How it works

From your door photo to glass in four steps.

  1. Send a photo

A photo of your door, your house number and the transom size, if you know it.

  2. Free mockup

Within 1–2 days you get a picture of your transom with your number in the styles you like.

  3. Deposit

You confirm the design and the size, pay a deposit, and we start cutting.

  4. Pick up

Your panel is ready in 3–4 weeks. Pickup in Philadelphia.

Measuring

Two numbers and a tape measure.

  1. Measure the glass opening from the inside: the width and the height between the edges of the frame.
  2. Measure in three places and write down the smallest number.
  3. Round to the nearest 1/8 inch. Not sure? Send a photo with the tape in it and we will check.

Questions

Good to know

Does it replace my transom window?

No. The panel is made to the size of your opening and sits inside, in front of the existing glass. Your old window stays as it is, and the stained glass is protected from the weather.

Do you install it?

We make the panel to your measurements and give you simple mounting instructions. Most people put it in themselves or ask their handyman.

Can I change the colors or the design?

Yes. Tell us what you like, or send a picture of your door and house, and we will match the colors in the mockup.

What sizes do you make?

Any transom size. Most Philadelphia rowhouse transoms are 28–40 inches wide.

Do you ship?

Transoms are pickup in Philadelphia for now, so the glass travels safely.

Why “Orosi”?

Orosi are the colored-glass windows of old Persian houses that turn sunlight into color on the floor. We named the studio after them.
